How To Make It Big In The Minor Leagues
While some would say that baseball has become less popular in recent years, it is still widely considered the national pastime. Because of this minor league stadiums in towns across the country continue to attract avid baseball fans.
While minor league baseball players have only a small shot of obtaining stardom in the major leagues, there are still several things they can do to gain fame and notoriety in the minor leagues. One thing that a player could do to make it big in the minors would be to be fan friendly. While they may not be worth as much, most fans love getting autographs from a player. If a player is willing to stick around for 30 minutes after a game they could gain plenty of support from the fans.
Another way a player can gain fame with fans is by playing hard. Fans always love a player that is willing to work hard, hustle, and show a true appreciation for playing the game. Not only will this make a player more popular with fans, but the extra effort will pay off as scouts and others in the organization will take notice of the improved play which could lead to a promotion.
